First things first! The basics.
Where to start.
I thought I would start this off with some real basics.
You wanna do better, feel better and start moving on up toward whatever your dreams are?
Maybe you doing great and just popped in to see what this is all about… maybe you're a womens therapist / super blogger with 1000 winning clients and a perfect life… or maybe it’s 1 AM in the morning and you're in a farted-up tracksuit you have been wearing for three days, eating ice cream straight from the container and wine straight from the bottle, going through the exs Facebook and Instagram in a loop… feeling like a deranged husk from all the tears you’ve cried.
You still need this advice.
Start with your body and immediate environment.
Start with what you have some control over.
We all know this. This is Healing 101.
Take care of your body first.
This is something you can control.
The body does follow what the mind does… but the mind also follows what goes into the body on an emotional and endocrine basis.
You know how to do this. But in case you have forgotten here are the basics.
In case it’s late right now read this then go to sleep!
Wake up before 9!
Drink a big glass of pure water with lemon juice in it.
Have a nourishing breakfast.
Get outside and get some sun on your skin. 30 minutes to an hour of the big healing yellow faces rays on the skin.
You probably don’t feel like working out or running but if you do, you should do that, if you cant just walk about.
Look at things in the environment.
Look at people and say Hi to them.
Put the phone away.
Start by doing a good thorough cleaning of your environment.
Get rid of anything that reminds you of sad memories such as an ex.
Move your furniture around.
Drink a lot of good water every day.
Take some basic vitamin supplements, including B complex ( but not after 12 as it can be stimulating and you need your sleep )
Keep cleaning and throwing old shit away and tire yourself out.
If you're not going to use it in the next six months donate it or bin it.
Stop talking about things that make you sad.
Stop bringing up the past.
Use that energy to build a better future for yourself.
Ok! Have a healthy lunch. There are no special diets on this new life program.
Just eat nourishing food regularly and cut out the sugar, artificial sweeteners, the booze, and try to limit caffeine to one small coffee before 10 am. Easy right?
You need to be tired so you can sleep well, don’t get into an overcaffeinated stress loop.
Sleep is when the healing happens.
We need to rebuild your body a bit.
So keep cleaning and being productive and eating well and drinking water and exercising and cleaning and listening to good music.
If you need a break watch a funny comedy that has nothing to do with sad romantic stuff.
Stop doing mental activities for now like self-help books and looking inward.
Walk, look, clean and eat and sleep well.
What I always recommend is a powdered magnesium supplement taken with lunch and an hour before bed.
Thats it. Keep this up every day and watch your mood change.
Stop feeling sad and start! You have a lot to do.

All of this is great advice. Thanks. A lot of it is common sense stuff that is well known, but it never hurts to hear it again.
